Shepherd Haven provides a lifeline to German Shepherd Dogs with stable temperaments facing euthanasia in shelters throughout Ohio. We are a nonprofit, home-based group in the central Ohio area. Our dogs come from area shelters or are owner surrenders.We make every attempt to place each pet in the best possible home for him/her, therefore, they are NOT placed on a "first come, first served" basis. We are not a 501(c)3 organization, but we hope to be--someday. For now, we are two people, Amy and Kathy, with a love and a passion for german shepherds. We have been very blessed with several families to help us save these lost hearts.

We are in great need for volunteers to join our organization. Of course our biggest demand is for folks who can provide foster homes for our dogs; but we need all types of volunteers to contribute in very important ways. Please call or email us for more information on how you can help.
